Design Process Handbook

A mini project with a mini, yet very useful outcome, the design process handbook outlines the steps of my design. For me the design process is continuous, as is this handbook. I wanted to keep a flow between each page, outlining the fact that these are not steps to be followed in a precise order. Nor should every project require all of the steps. The pages connect to one another including the first and last page and the accordion style helps to outline the overall idea of the project. The booklet can be folded to highlight specific steps while hiding others. Some projects can be on a tight deadline, requiring less steps to be taken, while others have more freedom of exploration. For me design is about flexibility, being able to shape your process to the project at hand. I like to reference this booklet from time to time.
