Rochester Museum and Science Center

The water cycle interactive was created for the Rochester Museum and Science Center as part of their green infrastructure exhibit. This was a different project than most because it involved the design process of the graphics as well as the design and building of the structure and mechanism. This is a permanent installation for the children to enjoy as they explore the museum. It not only teaches them the water cycle, but also helps illustrate different aspects of green infrastructure practices.

The position of the interactive offered a great opportunity for a graphic to be placed on the back that is seen from the herb garden of the museum featuring H2O Hero, the representative for the watershed awareness campaign. This project offered a great opportunity to work with new materials within multiple disciplines of design while also exploring new ways to solve problems.
